PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button link mechanism which can be installed in an adapter or the like in a simple structure, improves operational feelings and further improves assemblability, an adapter for portable electronic equipment having such a push-button link mechanism, and an assembly method for the push-button link mechanism. SOLUTION: The push-button link mechanism is provided with a push-button part 10, a rotary shaft 13 to be linked with the push-button part, and a bearing part 5 for supporting the rotary shaft to be freely rotated, and the bearing part has an opening 8 capable of being inserted by the rotary shaft and is equipped with a notched surface 15 notching one part of the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft.
