<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management method by which an apparatus to be managed carries out operation control automatically in a management system provided with the apparatus to be managed, a management apparatus and an information communication terminal connected via communications network. <P>SOLUTION: In initialization processing, a control part 2 outputs and displays a machine ID which is first identification information inherent to the present device on a display part 5 when an initialization start operation by a service person is inputted. A bar code which is image information displayed on the display means of a PDA 50 is read and analyzed by an image reading part 3 to extract initialization information which is performance information corresponding to the bar code, and an initialization action is carried out based on the initialization information. After completion of initialization, time information clocked by a clocking part 11 and code information corresponding to a setting termination result are generated, and outputted to the display part 5 as operation result information together with an initialization result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
