摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise information management system (POS system) for implementing not only merchandise management or sales management but also a service to a customer by effectively using a data base in which merchandise information is stored.

SOLUTION: This merchandise information managing system having a data base in which merchandise information related with merchandise is stored is provided with POS terminal for reading the merchandise identification information of merchandise to be purchased by a customer, an input part for inputting an electronic mail address applied to the customer, and a data base control part for storing the merchandise information related with merchandise to be specified by the merchandise identification information read by the POS terminal into the data base while making it correspond to the electronic mail address to be inputted by the input part.
