PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge that can block a table opening installed on a casing by a disk-like recording medium itself so that a turntable comes in and goes out to rotate the disk-like recording medium in the disk cartridge accommodating the disk-like recording medium in the casing. SOLUTION: In the disk cartridge, where the table opening 9 where the turn table 7 to rotate the disk-like recording medium 5 can be freely come in and go out, a pickup opening 13 where a pickup for recording and reproducing information can be freely come in and go out, and a shutter 15 that can be opened and closed are installed in a casing 3 accommodating the disk-like recording medium 5, a cover member 23, which can freely lock a table engaging hole 19 with the disk-like recording medium 5 and freely press the recording medium 5 against a closing part 11 formed at the circumferential edge of the table opening 9, is urged in a direction pressing the recording medium 5 and then equipped in the casing 3.
