PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout-free fan motor which is assembled only by inserting a shaft into a sleeve. SOLUTION: Related to a motor 1 of fan motor, the end of a shaft 11 is provided with a fitting part 31, a spring 32, and an abutting part 33. When the shaft 11 is inserted into the fitting part 31, the fitting part 31 is elastically deformed so that the groove of the shaft 11 engages with a protruding part of the fitting part 31. Here, the fitting part 31 shifts toward a sleeve 12 side so that the fitting part 31 does not contact a bottom surface 220a. The spring 32 energizes the abutting part 33 toward the end face of the sleeve 12, and energizes the fitting part 31 and the shaft 11 toward the bottom surface 220a side. As a result, only by inserting the shaft 11 into the sleeve 12, the layout-free fan motor is easily assembled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
