PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to quickly input a voice in a desired timing even when the effective voice input can not be performed since a position input means is damaged by impact from the outside in an electronic equipment having the position input means such as a touch panel and a voice input means. SOLUTION: As an input means, a mechanical voice validating switch 11 for validating the voice input is provided together with a keyboard 4 and a touch panel 7. When such a switch 11 is turned on, a CPU 1 validates the voice input by driving a microphone 9 and a voice recognizing processor 10. A user can quickly input the voice by turning on the switch 11 in a desired timing. Further, even when the touch panel 7 is damaged by the impact from the outside and an effective voice input is disabled, the voice input can be performed effectively by the switch 11.
