The frame structure consists of main load-bearing posts (1) that have their upper ends connected by horizontal metal joists (2) bolted to plates welded in the posts. The lower ends of the posts have threaded plates for connected to precision height adjusting rods (9) with holes for locking pegs. The upper ends of the posts are capped by inverted trough-section beams (5) that receive the upper edges of prefabricated wall panels (19) that are given an exterior finish (26). The frame can be made with openings for doors and windows and used to support wooden floors on timber or metal joists.
