PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: A fiber housing hole 15 which houses an optical fiber 2 exposed from the end part of an optical fiber cord 1 is formed at a housing body 11 of an optical connector 10. Just behind the housing body 11, a bending guide 20 is formed which has a holding hole part 21 that holds the optical fiber cord 1, in a prescribed bent state, that is extended behind the fiber housing hole 15. The optical fiber cord 1 is positioned and held in the axial direction using a stopper 30 at the bending guide part 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
