PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a substrate for microchips where there is no variation in the amount of immobilization of DNA fragment chains, further a hybridization that is highly efficient and has high reproducibility is enabled, and preservation properties are excellent in the immobilization of DNA fragment chains. SOLUTION: As a base, plastic is used, and after the surface is subjected to oxidization treatment, an amino group is introduced by aminoalkylsilane, and then an aldehyde group is introduced by glutaraldehyde.
