<p>The invention concerns a method for detection, identification and assay of a potentially toxic metal ion in a sample suspected of containing a plurality of metal ions. The invention is characterized in that it consists in using a probe characterized in that it comprises an electroactive homopolymer or copolymer polymer of at least two monomers, functionalized by a chelating agent, and in quantifying a potential difference characteristic of the redox potential of the cation(s) present in the sample.</p> |
