The invention relates to a roll of elastomer, prefabricated waterproofing material and to the production system therefor. The inventive production system comprises five steps which can be summed up in the following three steps consisting in: (1) producing the waterproofing material, (2) making a waterproofing strip, and (3) forming the roll and packing same. The inventive product can be applied to roofs made from cardboard, wood, cemented steel sheet and/or concrete and, as such, is suitable for use in the construction industry.
