<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer in which a high output can be obtained and which can be manufactured by low temperature baking, and to provide a piezoelectric ceramic material which can be driven even in twice or more higher vibration speed larger amplitude than that of a prior art and which has high relative permittivity and electromechanical coupling coefficient and further which can be baked at 1,050°C or lower. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric porcelain material contains a (PbXEY)[(Mn<SB>1/3</SB>Sb<SB>2/3</SB>)ATiBZrC]O<SB>3</SB>, wherein E is at least one type selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, and Ba as main component with a composition range of 0.95≤X+Y≤1.05, 0<Y≤0.20, 0.01≤A≤0.15, 0.30≤B≤0.60, 0.30≤C≤0.65 (wherein A+B+C=1), a metal oxide of D wt.% to be added in a range of 0<D≤5.0 when a main component weight is 100 wt.%, as a sub-component of at least one type of Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, ZnO, NiO, WO<SB>3</SB>, MoO<SB>3</SB>, Co<SB>3</SB>O<SB>4</SB>, CuO and V<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
