<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, at a low cost and in space-saving design, an image color change caused by a drum sensitivity change which occurs when the main body power source is turned on (first in the morning). <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming device having four drums, the nearer to a fixing unit the drums are situated, the later the timings of the start-up of drum heaters are or the longer the times required for low temperature control are.
