PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, in a technology to reduce a torque ripple by welding rotor blocks whose magnetic resistance distribution position is dislocated, that, if rotor blocks are closely fitted, an effect becomes small since the magnetic flux crosses over the blocks; and further, even if a countermeasure is taken on the rotor side, a large effect cannot be achieved since the magnetic flux is moved to a side where magnetic resistance is low in a stator core. SOLUTION: Magnetic flux crossing between the rotor blocks 6 and 7 is suppressed by interposing an air gap 8 between the rotor blocks 6 and 7. Further, the stator core 1 is disposed divided into two stator blocks 11 and 12, the same as the rotor blocks 6 and 7, and further, a stator magnetic interruption part 13 is disposed between the stator blocks 11 and 12. With such an arrangement, the problem that the magnetic flux moves to a side whose magnetic resistance is low between the rotor blocks 6 and 7, and between the stator blocks 11 and 12, is solved. Then, the effect that the magnetic resistance distribution position is dislocated by the rotor blocks 6 and 7 becomes large. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
