PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum hydraulic retarder device of power transmission equipment equipped with a CLSS hydraulic circuit.

SOLUTION: In the power transmission equipment equipped with the hydraulic circuit setting a control valve for controlling the discharge quantity of a hydraulic pump by inputting the front and rear pressures of a change-over valve for intermittently feeding oil into a hydraulic actuator so that the difference between the front and the rear pressures becomes constant, an opening and closing valve for communicating input circuits when inputting a retarder drive signal is installed between the input circuits of the front and the rear pressures to the control valve.
