PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce the noise of a fuel pressure regulator regardless of a flow rate of fuel. SOLUTION: A flow collision preventing member 35 is fitted to an upper edge opening of a bush 26, and an upper part of the flow collision preventing member 35 is projected to a valve element 33 side with respect to a valve seat 28 (upper end face of bush 26). A plurality of channels 36 are formed on an outer peripheral part of the flow collision preventing member 35 at equal intervals to allow the fuel to axially (downward) flow along an inner peripheral face of the bush 26. The valve element 33 positioned immediately above the valve seat 28 is provided with a relief recessed part 37 relieved from a projecting part of the flow collision preventing member 35. Since an upper part of the flow collision preventing member 35 is projected to an inner peripheral side of an annular clearance formed between the valve element 33 and the valve seat 28, the collision of the flow of the fuel flowing at each part of the annular clearance toward the inner peripheral direction is prevented by the flow collision preventing member 35, and pressure pulsation caused by the collision of the flow of the fuel is not generated at a lower side of the valve element 33, whereby the noise caused by the pressure pulsation can be reduced.
