The turning range of the applicator head (2) is limited to <+> or <-> 25 and <+> or <-> 10 deg round its center setting, rotating within limits round its axis (3). The head consists of a cylindrical shaft (4) in the housing complete with protruding tongue (5), the shaft flanged (6) at its free end for rotatable mounting in the housing. Bars (8,9) fitted along the shaft limit the head rotation by co-operating with endstops fitted in the housing. The tongue (5) has top and bottom guide surfaces (26,27) associating with spaced pins (28,29) so the carrier film is led through between surfaces or pins as specified.
