The current connection cable, for a welding burner, has a tubular structure in two sections with different diameters. The thinner section has a partially roughened outer surface to carry the copper strands in rings around it. An inner squeeze sleeve (4) is around the copper strands, covered by a rubber hose (5) and an outer squeeze sleeve (6). A working/protective gas or water coolant flows through the hollow tube forming the ground body.
