The linear connector (1) which fits in the cavities of the spacers has on its top surface elastic brake slats and protruding from the narrow sides slat-like projecting springs (2) formed as double tongues consisting of two leaf springs (2a,2b) placed in succession to form together a V-shaped configuration for mutual support when the connector is installed in the profiled spacer. The front spring leaf in the installation direction has a smaller incline angle to the longitudinal axis (B) of the oblong than the rear leaf (2b).
