Method for computer supported provision of material or materials for lift assembly, whereby the provided material is equipped with a read or writable information transmitter or transponder, material is procured and identifying and other useful information is written to or read from the transponders. The information is checked by computer. The invention also relates to a corresponding system and a computer program product.
