Disclosed is a variant phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase coming from micro-organism of Eschrichia, which is not sensitive to the back inhibition by aspartic acid, whilst through the resistance against the compound of the group, comprising 3-brompyruvate, aspartic acid beta-hydrazide and DL-treo-beta- hydroxyaspartic acid. Disclosed is also DNA encoding a variant phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, micro-organisms transformed by such DNA and process for producing amino acids through these micro-organisms.
