PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which securely supports a plane body to secure desired support feeling. SOLUTION: This vehicle seat has a seat-back 2 to be the backrest for a sitting user constituted by equipping at least a seat-back frame 5 with an opening 6 at the center and a plane shape body 14 elastically placed on the seat-back frame 5 to cover the opening 6 of the seat-back frame 5. The plane shape body 14 is pivotally supported longitudinally movable by a hinge mechanism 19 at an almost middle part of the plane shape body 14. The rod part 21 of a lumbar support mechanism 20 is placed behind lower than the hinge mechanism 19 of the plane shape body 14 to enable the plane shape body 14 to be pushed out forward.
