PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement-absorbing material for a pet, having a high deodorant effect, inexpensive, easy for discarding, exhibiting little environmental load and used for the toilet of the pet such as a cat or dog. SOLUTION: This excrement-absorbing material consists of an inorganic antibacterial agent containing at least 1 kind of metal ion consisting of Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn and an absorbing material. By the method of exhibiting little smell, inexpensive, easy for discarding and exhibiting the small environmental load, it becomes possible to treat the excrement of the pet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
