<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic rice ball-making machine capable of easily producing delicious rice balls similar to hand-made rice balls sustaining the shape of rice grains and moderately holding air between the rice grains and suitable for being used outside without getting burnt in the hand with hot boiled rice. <P>SOLUTION: This rice ball-making machine comprises an opened rice ball holding part at one side and at the other side a pair of triangles to make a form just as of making a rice ball by the human left hand so as to cover the holding part. The one side (a left part) is fixed but the other side (a right part) is formed in a groove or folding style so as to downwardly move (slide).
