THERMAL HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick film thermal head in which a high resolution can be ensured without sacrifice of print quality even if the width of heating resistors is reduced. SOLUTION: Heating resistors being formed linearly in the main scanning direction on an insulating substrate comprises first heating resistors (lower heating resistors) being connected with a lead conductor pattern, and second heating resistors (upper heating resistors) formed on the first heating resistors while protruding and to be narrower than the first heating resistors.
