PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation containing a stable vitamin C derivative expected to exhibit a widely more potent whitening effect, active oxygen eliminating effect, skin cell aging prevention effect, etc., than those of the conventional ones, a method for producing the same and method for using the same. SOLUTION: This vitamin C derivative-containing external preparation is obtained by using at least a high concentration vitamin C derivative as one of main components, dissolving the vitamin C derivative powder in negatively charged water, acidifying with lactic acid and citric acid, adjusting pH by sodium hydroxide for stabilizing the vitamin C derivative as a high concentration aqueous solution, further performing a stabilizing maturation treatment and microfiltration treatment.
