<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of tiles giving beneficial effects on human body by using yellow earth, fly ash, diatomite, cullet. The resultant tiles have far infrared emission, moisture-absorbing and proofing property, deodorization and sterilization. CONSTITUTION: The tile manufacturing process by dry-forming and single firing comprises the steps of: (i) preparing tile powder by ball-milling raw materials, aging and spray drying, wherein the raw materials contain 0-30wt.% of natural yellow earth, 30-50wt.% of natural clay, 30-50wt.% of porous fly ash, 10-30wt.% of diatomite, 5-15wt.% of cullet, 1-3wt.% of sodium silicate and 1-3wt.% of tannic acid lignin; (ii) forming under pressure of 250-350kg/cm2; (iii) drying at 100-150deg.C for 55-65min.; (iv) coating green tiles with a glaze(frit); (v) firing at up to 700-1000deg.C for 30-40min.; (vi) rectifying measurements of the tiles; (vii) coating tiles with photocatalytic materials by spraying a photocatalytic solution, Cu-contained TiO2 sol(5-30%), and firing at up to 600-700deg.C for 30-40min. The tile manufacturing method through dry-forming and double firing contains a firing step instead of the drying step(iii), wherein the firing condition is 600-900deg.C of maximum temperature and 0.5-5min of holding time, and total firing time is 30-40min. The tile manufacturing method by wet-forming comprises the steps of preparing a cake(20-30% of moisture) and injection forming instead of powder(step i) and press forming(step ii).</p> |
