PURPOSE: A fully automatic pressure cooker and a control method are provided to simplify each process, and to improve convenience in eating after finishing cooking by storing, supplying rice and water, washing and cooking automatically and sequentially. CONSTITUTION: A fully automatic pressure cooker comprises a hollow housing(10) having an upper rice container(12) and a lower opening window(11); a supply unit(20) transferring rice from the rice container by rotating a transfer screw(23) with a motor(24); a washing unit having an agitator rotating by the motor in a container(31) and water supply, drain and discharge ports opened and closed by solenoid valves, and washing rice; a cooking unit having a center inlet connected to the discharge port, an opening unit opening the inlet, a cover rotating shaft fixed on a cover, a center fixing plate holding a lift solenoid valve(52) and an internal pressure removing solenoid valve(53), the cover connected to a rotating motor shaft and a container part assembling and disassembling an inner container from the cover, and cooking rice at high pressure and temperature; and a microcomputer(62) controlling the supply unit, the washing unit and the cooking unit through a control panel. Convenience is improved by automatically storing, supplying, washing and cooking rice.
