PURPOSE: To provide an electronic component assembly, an intermediate connector, and a unit body to which, a plurality of electronic components can be mounted without increasing the size in the direction of thickness of a circuit board. CONSTITUTION: For the intermediate connector 2, a base board side space part 7 for housing electronic components 8A, 8B, 8C on a circuit board 1 is formed so as to penetrate through a housing. The unit body 11 is formed by superposing two members composed of a connector member 12 and a mounting member 13. A unit side space part 16 is formed on the connector member 12 located on the intermediate connector side corresponding to the base board side space part 7 of the intermediate connector in the direction of the thickness of the plate, and a plurality of male terminals 17 are formed so as to protrude from the surface facing the intermediate connector, and connections 18 connected to the male terminals are formed on the backside surface. For the mounting member 13, electronic components 19A, 19B, 19C are mounted on the surface facing the connector member 12 in the area within the unit side space part 16, and a connection pad 20 is formed in the area excluding the above area corresponding to the connection part of the connector member.
