PURPOSE: A curing metal mold for a tire is provided to prevent breakage of a slide contacting surface by blocking penetration of foreign materials in a contacting surface between an outer ring and a segment. CONSTITUTION: A segment(4) is installed to a top plate(2) to be slid right and left. An outer ring(3) combined to a platen(1) is installed to the outside of the segment. A shielding plate(7) is installed to a gap(6) between an inner upper surface of the outer ring and an outer peripheral surface of the top plate to block penetration of foreign materials. A groove is formed to an inner upper edge of the outer ring to insert one end of the shielding plate. A bolt hole is formed to the outer ring to penetrate an upper portion of the groove. Therein, clamping force of a clamping bolt(8) fixes one end of the shielding plate. A spring is installed elastically to the clamping bolt. A pushing plate is included between the spring and the shielding plate. Therefore, a slide surface is not polluted and damaged by blocking foreign materials between the outer ring and the segment with the shielding plate.
