PURPOSE: A construction method of a retaining wall for the protection of a filled up ground is provided to stabilize a filled up ground effectively. CONSTITUTION: The construction method of a retaining wall(100) for the protection of a filled up ground comprises the steps of: securing a working space for installing a compression block(10) on the front of an incline of an origin ground(200) and banking/tamping primarily to the intermediate height of the compression block; erecting a compression block(10) provided with an assembly hole on the appropriate site; after installing a tension bolt(20) to be placed on the primary banking plane through the assembly hole of the compression block(10), settling a fastener(30) and a resistance(40) on the front and end of the tension bolt respectively; covering up the tension bolt(20) and the resistance(40) installed on the primary banking plane, then banking/tamping secondarily to the intermediate height of the next compression block(10); installing a compression block(10) to the uppermost end by repeating previous progresses, then forming a filled up ground(300) in the compression block; adding prestress tensile force on the tension bolt(20) from the front of the compression block(10), then fastening the compression block(10) by a fastener(30) settled to the front end of the tension bolt compulsively and compressing the inner filled up ground(300).
