PURPOSE: A braking method of a fully automatic washing machine is provided to minimize noise and wear from friction by stopping the washing machine with dynamic braking instead of plugging in a normal stop. CONSTITUTION: A fully automatic washing machine comprises a driving unit fixed in a rotor of a motor and composed of a first serration(580); a U-yoke combined with a fixing part of the washing machine and composed of a solenoid coil; and a coupling moving up and down between the driving unit and the U-yoke and having a second serration(720). The motor is stopped by using only dynamic braking after operating the washing machine during the set time. Noise and wear are minimized by stopping the washing machine through dynamic braking instead of plugging in a normal stop. |
