PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing ash of hot dip galvanized snout is provided to remove ash adhered to the snout that is dipped into galvanizing bath to hot dip galvanize a strip in a hot dip galvanizing plant. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for removing ash adhered to the strip in the process of plating the strip as a strip passing the annealing process in an annealing furnace is passing through molten zinc via snout connected to plating pot, the apparatus comprises an expansion joint(10) assembled between the annealing furnace and the snout; a spray nozzle part(40) assembled onto one side surface of the snout to spray nitrogen gas; a blowing nozzle(41) assembled onto one side surface of a snorkel(52) assembled into the snout to blow nitrogen gas; and a moving deck(30) fixed to the annealing furnace and snout to discharge the ash accumulated on the side of outlet(52-1) of the snorkel(52) as a moving deck is being ascended according to rotation of screw jacks(11,12), wherein the moving deck part comprises guide rails(20,21), a stopper, a moving deck(30), a base(22), screw jacks(11,12), and a driving motor(13).
