PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic attraction sheet that can be manufactured inexpensively through continuous multipolar magnetization, and to provide a method of magnetizing the sheet and a method of manufacturing the sheet. SOLUTION: The methods of magnetizing and manufacturing this magnetic attraction sheet include steps of orientating the axis of easy magnetization of a long sheet 8 in the longitudinal direction B of the sheet 8 and steps of arranging composite permanent magnets 9a and 9b each of which is constituted by stacking a plurality of plate-like permanent magnets 10 magnetized in the directions parallel to the flat surfaces of the magnets 10 upon another, with the poles of each magnet 10 being faced to difference poles of its adjacent magnets 10, so that the magnets 9a and 9b may face one surface of the sheet 8 and, in addition, the direction of stack of the magnets 9a and 9b may become coincident with the axis of easy magnetization of the sheet 8. The methods also include steps of performing multipolar magnetization on the sheet 8 so that the direction of magnetization of the sheet 8 may be inverted alternately obliquely to the axis of easily magnetization by moving the magnets 9a and 9b at a fixed speed in the direction A perpendicular to the axis of easily magnetization while the sheet 8 is moved at a fixed speed in the direction of axis of easy magnetization.
