Heat exchanger, e.g. for regenerative pre-heating of combustion air to boilers, is constructed with the height of the storage material support tapering from the inner to the outer wall, whereas the height of the storage plates is constant. Arrangement provides improved rigidity with optinum shape for thermal performance. |
