The decorative or information system consists of a panel (2) fitted to the roof timbers (41) in place of a number of tiles (42) and held in position by tile fixing clips (5). The panel is multi-layered, comprising a layer of an elastic material such as natural or synthetic rubber between two sheets of aluminium or zinc, the upper one carrying the information or decoration to be displayed.
