PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining quantity detector for storage tanks at a low cost which can be used, as it is, for an existing storage tank, without having to modify the storage tank, is small-sized and has a simple structure in addition, and can be used over a wide range of fields without being influenced by the kind of storage tank, and the difference in the kind of substance to be measured, which is stored inside the storage tank. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transmitter 200 and an ultrasonic receiver 300 are fitted to a flange 1, which plugs up an opening 20a of the storage tank 20. The flange 1 is fixed to a flange fitting portion 24, provided in the opening 20a of the storage tank 20. |
