PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure of a wall panel and a joining method for the wall panel, capable of improving waterproof performance in the joining side end parts of a pair of wall panels, simply performing waterproof treatment, and previously fitting a facing material to the joining side end parts of the wall panels to thereby easily join the wall panels to each other. SOLUTION: The wall panel 2 of one wall panel 1 with a facing material and the wall panel 2 of the other wall panel with the facing material are abutted and connected to each other. Subsequently, a pair of waterproof moisture permeable sheets 3, 3 are folded with the side end parts superposed one on the other and inserted in a gap 6 formed between the side end part of the facing material 4 of one wall panel 1 with the facing material and the side end part of the facing material 4 of the other wall panel 1 with the facing material, and a joint material 8 for sealing between the facing materials 4, 4 is inserted therein.
