摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts by integrating a motor and a driving mechanism to the utmost, in a dynamo-electric brake converting the rotation of an electric motor into linear motion by using a cam mechanism. SOLUTION: A magnet 8 is provide on the outer periphery of a shaft portion 7 of a driving side cam member 6 and it is opposed to a coil 5 provided on the inner face of a housing to form the electric motor. Thus, the cam member and the output shaft of the motor are integrated to eliminate the need for a mechanism for transmitting force from a motor output to the cam member, impossibly causing the malfunction of the brake due to the failure of the transmission mechanism, improving reliability and achieving the compact and lighter device as a whole. A driving side cam face 16 is rotated by energizing a coil, a driven side cam member 11 is moved via a roller 25 to the axial direction and a brake pad 20 is pushed against a brake disc 24 to provide braking operation. Wear compensation is performed by slightly rotating a compensation shaft 30 with a coil spring 32 to replace a nut 31, a bearing 10 and the driving and driving side cam members 6, 11.</p>
