PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative bargeboard mounting structure which enables quick and accurate mounting of a decorative bargeboard, to thereby improve the construction efficiency of house building work. SOLUTION: According to the decorative bargeboard mounting structure, a bargeboard receiving board is fixed to a wall surface at a location below a verge. The bargeboard receiving board includes a base portion connected to the wall surface, a receiving portion perpendicularly folded from the base portion in a manner protruding sideways, and a hanging piece hanging from an edge of the receiving portion. Then, while a lower edge of the decorative bargeboard engages with a lower surface of the receiving portion of the bargeboard receiving board, the decorative bargeboard is fixed to a verge side board, and then the decorative bargeboard is fixed to the bargeboard receiving board with the engaging portion being fixed to each other.
