PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer information analysis system in which status information on a plurality of kinds of printer units can be analyzed and a language monitor can be made into small scale. SOLUTION: A printer type identifying means 12a identifies a connected printer unit 2 and when a table search means 12b confirms that the connected printer unit 2 does not have a table 24 for information analysis, a command for acquiring the table 24 for information analysis is transmitted from a command transmitting means 12c to the printer unit 2. Then, the table 24 for information analysis is downloaded from the printer unit 2 by using a table receiving means 12d. A table managing means 12e stores the downloaded table 24 for information analysis in a table storage buffer 12g for printer information analysis and a status analyzing means 12f analyzes the status of the printer unit 2 by using the table for information analysis stored in the table storage buffer 12g for printer information analysis. |
