PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stranger from illegally operating a browser 20 currently used for browsing and impersonating a user himself/herself to read information while the user is away from an information terminal 10. SOLUTION: The browser 20 accesses a Web server 2a via a proxy server 30 installed in the same information terminal 10. The user inputs authentication information 21 in starting the browser 20. The browser 20 attaches the authentication information 21 to a request signal transmitted during a session. The proxy server 30 is provided with an absence detecting part 32 for detecting the absence of the user, and confirms the identity of the user with a confirming part 31 and they relays a request signal to the Web server 2a if the proxy server 30 receives the request signal after detecting the absence. The confirming part 31 requests the user to reinput authentication information, compares the inputted authentication information with the authentication information 21 attached to the request signal, and thereby confirms the identity of the user. |
