PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive fluid bearing with a simple configuration which can prolong the dynamic pressure effect for a long time, and a motor therefor. SOLUTION: In the fluid bearing 120 which rotatably supports a rotary shaft 110 penetrating an inner circumferential surface 90 in a facing manner by exuding a lubricating fluid 120a from the inner circumferential surface 90 of a substantially cylindrical bearing body 120b with the lubricating fluid 120a impregnated therein, the bearing body 120b comprises a base bearing member difficult to exude the lubricating fluid 120a, and a dynamic pressure generation part 80 which is formed on the inner circumferential surface 90 of the bearing body 120b, has a wedge-shape narrower toward the rotational direction of the rotary shaft 110, and easily exudes the lubricating fluid 120a.
