<p>The invention relates to procedures and devices for routing of a data packet from a first device in a first network segment to a second device in a second network segment. The data packet includes a first address in a receiver address field and a first port number in a receiver port field. According to the invention a second port number which in the second device is uniquely associated with the first address is allocated. The data packet is modified by the first address in the receiver address field being replaced with the address of the second device and by the first port number in the receiver port field being replaced with the second port number. The modified data packet then is transmitted from the first device to the second device. In the second device the first port then be identified by means of the second port number that the modified data packet is associated with the first address. The modified data paacket then can be restored by the address of the second device being replaced with the first address.</p> |
