The invention relates to an installation for catching and holding hydrogen chloride vapours and lead powders resulting from the vehicle radiators manufacturing process, as well as from the galvanizing baths. According to the invention, the installation comprises a metal recess (1) for the local catching of the noxious substances, several suction ports (2) for the noxious substances, placed on the wall opposite to the working position, said ports being adjustable depending on the amount of released noxious substances to be sucked, a filter (3) provided with anti-acid granules which represents the first filtering stage for holding the hydrogen chloride vapours, a water atomizing system (4) supplied through a connection hose (12) for the continuous wetting of the filtering material from the first filtering stage, a filter (5) made up of a non-woven textile material which represents the second filtering stage for holding the aerosols and the lead powders, the non-woven textile filtering material being fastened in a V-shaped position, in a detachable metal case, a reservoir (6) for collecting the waste water being placed at its base, said reservoir being provided with a discharge connection hose (16), a transport piping (7) connected to a fan being provided for discharging the filtered air.
