PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage level equalizing device capable of appropriately equalizing a voltage level between respective cells in a battery pack. SOLUTION: In this voltage level equalizing device for the battery pack, voltage applying circuits 20 are provided corresponding to respective combinations of terminals adjacent to each other with high and low potentials among a plurality of terminals extended from the battery packs CB, the respective voltage applying circuits 20 include rectification diodes 17 for rectifying the voltage applied to the terminals to constitute a part of a switching power circuit, and a voltage is applied to the terminals by the voltage applying circuits 20 to equalize the voltage level of the respective cells between the respective cells. The switching frequency and duty ratio of the switching power circuit are set so that the current in a small current range with a small variance between devices having the forward voltage of the rectification diodes 17 is made to flow.
