PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium reproducing device which realizes simplification and miniaturization thereof. SOLUTION: A stocker 23 formed by laminating holders 39 having the same shape is stored in a CD reproducing device 21. When a CD 24 is inserted through an insertion/ejection port 33, the CD 24 is taken into a casing 22 by an insertion/ ejection roller 35 of an insertion/ejection mechanism 34. The CD 24 which is positioned on a reference position can be mounted by a turntable 38 of PU unit 25. On the stocker 23, the turntable 38 is allowed to proceed into a stored position which is capable of storing a plurality of the CDs 24, is selected by an elevating/lowering mechanism 26 and is divided by a division mechanism 28 and, thus, the CD 24 can be transported.
