<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nosing cover for a staircase, which facilitates mounting thereof, exhibits good appearance, is easy to manufacture, and simplifies storage, control, etc., of the same. SOLUTION: The nosing cover is mounted on a tread nosing portion 25 of the staircase having both side support members 10 arranged on both sides thereof at a predetermined interval, and treads 20 arranged between both the side support members. The nosing cover is formed of a nosing cover main body 50 and a folding cover sheet 53. The main body 50 has a tread cover sheet 51 horizontally arranged along an upper surface of the nosing portion 25, and a front surface cover sheet 52 extending downward from a front edge of the tread cover sheet 51 and arranged along a front surface of the nosing portion 25. The folding cover sheet 53 has its upper end detachably attached to a lower edge of the front surface cover sheet 52. Then, the nosing cover main body 50 is inserted into a space defined by both the side support members 10 while being attached to the tread 20, and then the folding cover sheet 53 is attached to the nosing cover main body 50.</p> |
