PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sales system using a vending machine and a portable terminal machine capable of selling a commodity cashlessly while requiring no excessive charge from a user. SOLUTION: In this commodity sales system, the vending machine 100 reads authentication data from the portable terminal machine 400 holding the authentication data, the authentication data are transmitted to a payment server 200 communicated with the vending machine 100 via a dedicated communication line for authenticating the user, and then, the user purchases the commodity. The purchased commodity information as sales information is transmitted to a management server 300 via the communication line, and consequently, no excessive charge is required from the user while a trader selling the commodity can sequentially obtain information about the type of the user, the time and place of purchase, and the sort of purchased commodity without any questionnaire survey. |
