PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for providing information to a mobile terminal, capable of immediately providing the information desired by the user of a mobile terminal to the mobile terminal, and to provide a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: An information server 21 is provided with a means for storing the correspondence between areas and service information relating to the areas in a database 22, and calculating a moving destination area of a mobile terminal. The server 21 loads the information relating to the moving destination area into a mobile terminal 20 which is moving from the database 22 to the moving destination area before completion of the moving.
